Another winner! “Self-Relection” brought in a 2nd Place at the 13th Annual KVCC (Kalamazoo Valley Community College) Alumni Art Show in the Center for New Media Gallery in downtown Kalamazoo. The show is on during the June Art Hop. I’m celebrating the recognition.

Mono Lake

From a photo I took long, long ago of Mono Lake near Bishop, CA. There are salt pillars sticking out of the shallow, salty water. I think the colors were amazing on that day. The deep blue sky, the purplish-reddish waters and the brick red of the pillars.

My “Self-Reflection” has been accepted into the Carnegie Center for the Arts Regional Juried Arts Competition 2024 in Three Rivers, MI. The show opens with their reception/awards ceremony on January 21 at 2pm. Carnegie is at 107 No Main St, 49093. Come by and see some very nice work.
