Another One Finished

From a reference photo of wonderful photographer, Rachel Cain. It was taken in the prairies of Minnesota. The color of the wildflowers was mind boggling. Trying to push through a “painter’s block.” One painting at a time.

A Step Beyond Ordinary

My show in New York at Agora Gallery opened yesterday, “A Step Beyond Ordinary.” I will be attending the Opening Reception on August 4th between 6-8pm, with my husband, sister, and sister-in-law (and their spouses). I’m so excited!! Getting my hair done and wearing a dress! 😮 My red carpet! The second photo is my little niche at the show. Will come home with lots of pictures. Going to the Empire State Bldg, and a Manhattan Island cruise while in town. Hopefully, I’ll have fewer paintings to bring home afterward. 🤞

My Agora Gallery Opening Reception on August 4th. I had a marvelous time! The staff was great and I was able to talk with serious art people. It was a night of my lifetime!

Downtown Artist Cellar

Apparently I was Artist of the Week on NCPR (North Country Public Radio) sometime in 2021-22. They knew of “Martini” from the Adirondack Artists Guild Juried Show in 2021, where I won First Place with the painting. NCPR is affiliated with Downtown Artist Cellar (DAC) in Malone, NY. They are holding an Artist Weekly Show in Aug/Sep in their gallery. I will have my “Bleeding Hearts” in this show. Aug 11-Sep 2 at 410 East Main Street, Malone NY 12953. Would have shown “Martini,” but that one is in New York City! 😆
