The Art Epic Gallery Online Still Life Exhibition has accepted my two paintings, “Martini on the Rocks” and “Self-Reflection” for its online show this month. There is voting for awards. Bluebird Nest 2023, Pastel on UArt paper, twigs, leaf, moss, planter plate, 12 x 12 x 3 $300.

A departure from my usual technique. This nest was found on a nearby Arboretum property. It was beautiful in the sun. I painted the eggs and background with soft pastels. Found twigs on the ground and glued them onto the paper. Added the moss and set it into a terracotta planter plant.
